Unsere Maine Coons/Our Maine Coons
Unsere Katzen sind in erster Linie Familienmitglieder und erst an zweiter Stelle mögliche Zuchttiere. Vor Zuchteinsatz werden alle unsere potentiellen Eltern auf HCM und PKD geschallt (von einem zertifizierten Kardiologen), auf HD und Patella untersucht (von einem auf Orthopädie spezialisierten Tierarzt) und DNA getestet (Laboklin). Wir tun alles, um gesunde Kitten in diese Welt zu setzen - aber es ist Natur und nicht immer gelingt es... Denn wie immer: WIR planen - die Entscheidungen liegen bei Katzen und Natur!
Our cats are first and foremost family members and only secondly potential breeding animals. Before breeding, all our potential parents are scanned for HCM and PKD (by a certified cardiologist), examined for HD and patella (by a veterinarian specializing in orthopaedics) and DNA tested (Laboklin). We do everything we can to bring healthy kittens into this world - but it's nature and we don't always succeed... Because as always: We plan - the cats and nature decide!
Aktuell lebt bei uns kein Deckkater, aber mit etwas Glück wird ER Vater von einem unserer nächsten Würfe..
We don't have a stud at the moment, but with a bit of luck HE will be the father of one of our next litters.
Wir haben momentan zwei potente, aber noch sehr junge Mädels, die evtl. mal zur Zucht gedacht sind.
At the moment, we have two young, promising girls, which are maybe planned for breeding in the future.
Aktuell gibt es keine Kitten und auch noch keine echten Pläne. Zuerst müssen die beiden Mädels alle Zuchtuntersuchungen bestehen, sich charakterlich eignen - und dann muss es auch noch klappen. Wir werden sehen...
At the moment there are no kittens and no real plans. First of all, the two girls have to pass all the breeding examinations and show good character - and then it has to work out. We will see...
